Just in case, here are the instructions one more time for parents of seniors

The deadline to register for ETSBOA Junior Clinic tryouts is this Friday, October 19th. The tryout fee is $10 and is due to Mr. McHenry by Friday. Junior Clinic is open to all 9th grade woodwind, brass, and percussionists. Tryouts are November 17th at McMinn County HS and the clinic itself is December 7-8 at Cleveland MS.

We will be taking a pep band to the Howard game this Friday (woodwinds brass  and percussion only).  Band members who are out of town are excused. See below for itinerary:

5:30 PM – report to the band room

6:00 PM – board the bus, leave for Howard HS

7:30 PM – kickoff

10:00 PM – return to HHS

10:45 PM – arrive at HHS, clean up and dismiss

The band will be in regular uniforms for this performance

Since we will not perform at halftime and only take one bus, this trip will not include color guard and majorettes. Watch for them at the next home game on October 19th!

1. We will not rehearse today (Thursday), since school is out
2. We will still have our Friday evening rehearsal tomorrow night from 5-8 PM
3. Unfortunately, due to all the lost rehearsal time this week, we will not be going to the Bradley contest on Saturday. I know many of us were looking forward to it, but missing an entire week of rehearsing outside just hasn’t left us enough time to get prepared. I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend spending time with family or picking up a shift at work.

Looking forward to getting back out on the field Friday night and putting the rest of the show on. See you there!

7:00 PM               Line up to march to the stadium

10:00 PM             End of game; march back to the stadium and clean up the band room

10:20 PM             Dismiss from the band room

 

• Uniform for this game will be blue jeans, 2018 marching band t-shirts, athletic shoes (no sandals)
